My journey into photography
Photography grew naturally from my love of the outdoors. As a passionate hunter, I've spent countless hours in remote places, watching wildlife, studying animal behaviour, and experiencing moments that many people never get to see. Over time, I wanted a way to capture those moments and share the beauty of the natural world beyond the hunt itself, and photography became the perfect outlet.
What I love most about photography is that it combines patience, observation, and storytelling. Much like hunting, it requires understanding the environment, reading conditions, and being fully present in the moment. Whether I'm photographing wildlife, landscapes, or a sunrise in the backcountry, every image tells a story about an experience that can't be repeated.
My academic background with a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting has also shaped how I approach photography. Finance taught me discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse situations carefully. Photography provides a creative counterpoint, blending precision with passion.

What makes my photography unique is the perspective I bring from spending so much time outdoors as both a hunter and a wildlife enthusiast. I don't just photograph landscapes or animals—I try to capture the story behind the moment. Years of hunting have taught me patience, observation, and how to read animal behaviour, which often allows me to anticipate and photograph moments that others might miss.
My style focuses on authenticity. Rather than heavily staged or overly edited images, I aim to showcase wildlife and natural landscapes as they truly are. I love capturing the raw beauty of the outdoors, whether it's the first light of dawn over a remote valley, a mature stag moving through the bush, or the quiet details that make nature so special.
My background in Finance and Accounting also influences my work. It has given me a strong eye for detail, composition, and precision. I tend to approach photography with both a creative and analytical mindset—carefully planning shots while remaining open to unexpected beauty.
